Hello Ladies,

Well, September was one heck of a BUSY month! We did a lot of our programs for the year! VJ DAY, LABOR DAY OPEN HOUSE, PATRIOTS DAY PROGRAM, POW-MIA PROGRAM, BICYCLE RODEO, AARP SAFE DRIVING COURSE, and VFW BIRTHDAY! Thanks to all of you who helped put all this together and attended. Without your help none of this would have been done! Remember to do all your reports and get them mailed in. October is a pretty easy month. Meeting night will be on the 11 th and SHEPARD’S PIE will be served. Remember to bring sides and desserts. I will be attending the State President’s Homecoming in Amarillo on the 7th and 8th. We will be in Eastland on the 15th for District 8 Convention! The Trash Off will be on the 22nd at Susan Archa's house! We will have Oktoberfest also this month. Halloween is on the 31st so be spooky and scary! Let’s all have fun and remember our Veterans at the same time. See ya around the Post.
